Morally Justifiable

Morally Justifiable!
What a can of worms bullshit semantic expression FFS.

Morally justifiable
to kill?
to go to war?
to abort?
blah blah blah

Just Google "morally justified" and go down deep and dark into the rabbit hole.

The stench of verbal diarrhoea is unmanageable and unbearable.

All the self-righteousness and completely TWISTED rationalisation and many other Freudian DEFENCE mechanisms go in full gear on ATTACK.

Again I feel compelled to quote Pratchett here:

“All right," said Susan. "I'm not stupid. You're saying humans need... fantasies to make life bearable."
REALLY? AS IF IT WAS SOME KIND OF PINK PILL? NO. HUMANS NEED FANTASY TO BE HUMAN. TO BE THE PLACE WHERE THE FALLING ANGEL MEETS THE RISING APE."Tooth fairies? Hogfathers? Little—"YES. AS PRACTICE. YOU HAVE TO START OUT LEARNING TO BELIEVE THE LITTLE LIES."So we can believe the big ones?"YES. JUSTICE. MERCY. DUTY. THAT SORT OF THING."They're not the same at all!"YOU THINK SO? THEN TAKE THE UNIVERSE AND GRIND IT DOWN TO THE FINEST POWDER AND SIEVE IT THROUGH THE FINEST SIEVE AND THEN SHOW ME ONE ATOM OF JUSTICE, ONE MOLECULE OF MERCY. AND YET—Death waved a hand. AND YET YOU ACT AS IF THERE IS SOME IDEAL ORDER IN THE WORLD, AS IF THERE IS SOME...SOME RIGHTNESS IN THE UNIVERSE BY WHICH IT MAY BE JUDGED."Yes, but people have got to believe that, or what's the point—"MY POINT EXACTLY.” ― Terry Pratchett, Hogfather

I can hear "THEM" already foaming at the mouth all turning into Vicky Pollards Yeah But...No But...yeah butt....no butt...

"The BIBLE says this and the BIBLE says that and there is no just and blah blah blah except me the self-righteous racist rapist prick here."

It never ends and the USA seem to be an extremely fertile ground for that foaming gibberish self-righteousness, self- righteous until they get caught as always with their hands in the cookie jar or with their pants down and then they come back crawling begging for forgiveness since there is a shitload of money to be made telling others what to do.

But it is the same everywhere, everyone of them,

ALL of US really including Atheists.

Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Indigenous or Shintoist

all in the same bag of lies and myths and made up stories thought to be "true"

A LIE IS A LIE IS A LIE.

and as said before

A MYTH IS A MYTH IS A MYTH.

I was thinking about that just the other day and my own dichotomy and cognitive dissonance

(mix that with my cognitive dissociation and there you go)

on how I love the HAKA as a performance but I hate all myths. Whether it's a Maori myth or Christian myth or a Babylonian myth or Greek Myth

they are all LIES all made up stories.

But then again as Camus had to face and Pratchett tries to explain  it is quite hard if not totally impossible to live life without a single delusion.

So what is a man to do?

Wherewithal shall an old man find his way?

Forgive the lack of PC here.

Eat and drink and be merry for tomorrow ye shall die

seems to sum it all up.

Question EVERYTHING.

“Resist much, obey little.”

and I could quote a shitload of Whitman here and even find something I question and resist even in his sayings like:

“Whatever satisfies the soul is truth.”

to which I would answer like Pontius Pilate

WHAT IS TRUTH?

or as I prefer it ALETHEIA the absence of concealment.

“Do I contradict myself? Very well, then, I contradict myself; I am large -- I contain multitudes.” ― Walt Whitman

“O Me! O life!... of the questions of these recurring; Of the endless trains of the faithless—of cities fill’d with the foolish; Of myself forever reproaching myself, (for who more foolish than I, and who more faithless?) Of eyes that vainly crave the light—of the objects mean—of the struggle ever renew’d; Of the poor results of all—of the plodding and sordid crowds I see around me; Of the empty and useless years of the rest—with the rest me intertwined; The question, O me! so sad, recurring—What good amid these, O me, O life?

Answer.

That you are here—that life exists, and identity; That the powerful play goes on, and you will contribute a verse.” ― Walt Whitman, Leaves of Grass

    1. I was born an idealist for sure still am deep down...some would call it a dreamer..that glimpse of a great potential though is really a curse...we can dream but we will never achieve

  2. Well, can you do something out of this world?

Take a dream on a Sunday
Take a life, take a holiday
Take a lie, take a dreamer
Dream, dream, dream, dream, dream along
