EXPRESSIONS OF JOY

EXPRESSIONS OF JOY
I have two main exclamation marks, expressions of joy.
I should note that these two exclamations mostly come out after hearing a sublime musical piece with or without accompanying sublime lyrics.
So one of them is:
HALLELUJAH JESUS!
Or more accurately
HALLELUJAH JEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZZZZUSSSSS!
With all the Pentecostal emotional drama style and all the soul of Black Gospel in it.
Sometimes the lyrics that provoked such effervescence may not be quite acceptable in the gospel milieu or even remotely close to biblical but I am not bound to such earthly rules. J

My second compulsive expression, not second in anything really just different, depending on context, mood and state of mind or soul and somewhat even equal to the first even though it seems so diametrically opposed.

So that other expression is an exhalation of

WELL FUUUUUUUUUCCCCCCK ME!

And there is a reason for that! J

It is very explanatory and expletive and it simply means that the only thing that will EQUAL, TOP, or BETTER what I just FELT,  ( The Goose Bumps, the Epiphany) is nothing short of a rush of orgasmic endorphins of the best kind, the one that nearly blows your brains right off this planet.

Or as American author Jonathan Littell, describes it:

“A jolt that emptied my head like a spoon scraping the inside of a soft-boiled egg”

And these two expressions come out like a geyser, impossible to hold in, as uncontrollable as a Tourette’s syndrome attack.

When it comes to natural rushes nothing replaces music.

One could live for these rushes but unfortunately someone mean and cruel I’d say decided it wasn’t going to be so.  We are not meant to enjoy Heaven on Earth apparently.  Something about them four seasons and appreciating the sun even more because of the rain blah blah blah.

And something in our brains that is as greedy as hell when it comes to euphoria.

There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:
Pro 30:16  The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.

Demanding always more plus the other unmentioned laws of mountains and valleys as well. It would seem as the Stoics and the Buddhists are trying to teach us that one only chooses the height of his mountains in this world. The depth of the valleys is no choice or ours whatsoever and is ALWAYS equivalent to the heights of the mountains.  So if you fly really high rest assured that you will crash really low and visit depths of hell you didn’t even know existed.
So beware of endorphins and euphoria but yet...

Ecc 7:16  Be not righteous over much; neither make thyself over wise: why shouldest thou destroy thyself?
Ecc 7:17  Be not over much wicked, neither be thou foolish: why shouldest thou die before thy time?

Ascetism and Stoicism seems to be such a waste of life since

Ecc 9:5  For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten.
Ecc 9:6  Also their love, and their hatred, and their envy, is now perished; neither have they any more a portion for ever in any thing that is done under the sun.
Ecc 9:7  Go thy way, eat thy bread with joy, and drink thy wine with a merry heart; for God now accepteth thy works.
Ecc 9:8  Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.
Ecc 9:9  Live joyfully with the wife whom thou lovest all the days of the life of thy vanity, which he hath given thee under the sun, all the days of thy vanity: for that is thy portion in this life, and in thy labour which thou takest under the sun.

Having been an endorphins haven addict from a very young age,

(apparently dissociation is the normal thing to do when you are young and innocent and unable to defend yourself against vile attacks on your heart and soul J)

Music is the next best thing to crystal meth and a good point for music is that it won’t kill you as fast. Music is your only friend!

Maybe Jim was right all along.

When the Music’s Over Turn Out the Lights

cuz Elizabeth this is the Big One and I am coming home.

  2. Music is something that all humans have in common. It stretches across time and culture and seems to be inherent. I guess we could say the same of other concepts, but none are as enduring music.
